In February 2020, founders James and Gemma set out to create something special in the heart of Paisley. Their vision was simple: serve high-quality food and coffee in a clean, welcoming space, always paired with friendly customer service.
The journey wasn’t easy — opening was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic — but by August 2020 Doris Coffee House finally welcomed its first guests. Since then, it has grown into a local favourite for breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks and gatherings.
Our story is also personal. The name Doris carries a family meaning and is symbolised with a yellow heart, a tribute to loved ones and to the Beatson Cancer Charity in Glasgow.
Today, Doris Coffee House continues to build on those original values: fresh food, great coffee, and a warm atmosphere for the community of Paisley.
